Meet Our Executive Team
Dean Murdoch, Vice President
Dean began his career in the medical sales profession. Ten years in the profession led to promotions for two different Fortune 500 companies specializing in key account development and new product launches. He left the medical field to start a manufacturer's representative agency in the Detroit area, supplying products to the automotive manufacturers. This company also led to the formation of Sales Marketing Group (SMG) in 1983 to promote and market products to the automotive industries. Dean developed a logo program for QS-9000 (automotive quality standard) and became the exclusive global distributor during its ten-year existence. Sales Marketing Group made a strategic decision to diversify from mostly automotive to the medical and health industries. SMG now enjoys a diverse account base and a strong financial position in these growing industries.
When not at work, Dean enjoys skiing in the winter months and bicycling and fishing during the rest of the year.
Sherri Meloche, Co-Owner and Senior Account Executive
Sherri joined Sales Marketing Group in 1997 to facilitate the launch of the QS-9000 worldwide fulfillment program. The processes Sherri put in place were instrumental in Sales Marketing Group retaining a 99.8% overall customer satisfaction rating during the program's ten-year duration. Providing top-notch customer service and a "what can't we do" attitude remains at the top of Sherri's business philosophy. Currently Sherri manages and oversees all aspects of SMG's daily operations, as well as continuing to service new and established client accounts.
In her spare time, Sherri enjoys spending time with her dog "Boo" and all of her family members. Sherri has been married for over 26 years and has two terrific kids with two wonderful grandkids.
Brandi Bouse, Senior Account Executive
Brandi began working full time at SMG in 2002 alongside her mother, Sherri. With her health education background, Brandi's expertise is health-related clients, but she also works with a wide variety of corporations, non-profits, restaurants, service-industry companies and many more. Brandi has been the driving force in client recruitment and helping to diversify the customer base at SMG.
In her spare time, Brandi enjoys spending time with her four-year-old son Landon. She is an avid sports fan and participates in many outdoor activities, especially in the summer months.
Denise Weissman, Account Executive
Denise started at SMG in 2006 after working predominantly in sales. After graduating from the University of Colorado with honors and an international business degree, she moved to France where she received an international degree taught in French from the Universite de Montpellier II.
When Denise is not at work or spending time with her family, she dedicates herself to her favorite charities by volunteering in the community. She is happily married to her husband John and has one daughter named Zoe.
Hillary Bultema, Account Executive
Hillary joined SMG after working at Palace Sports and Entertainment for five years as an Account Executive. In her previous role, Hillary sold group, season and suite tickets for the Detroit Pistons, The Palace and DTE Energy Music Theatre, all while focusing on a high level of customer service. Year after year, she exceeded her sales goals and finished top three in overall sales for the duration of her time with the company. Hillary brings her selling and customer service skills to build, grow and service new and established SMG cliental. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, staying active and spending time with family and friends.
Jamie Murdoch, Program Coordinator
Recently, Jamie joined SMG after working in the professional sports industry with a community relations, PR and event planning focus. Jamie's held several positions in the service industry where she learned the importance of great customer service. At SMG, her main responsibilities include marketing, social media and customer retention.
Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending time with her dog Franky and doing a wide range of activities including skiing, biking and spending time with family and friends.
